Please note;
By making your required payment to confirm your booking, you are hereby agreeing to our Terms & Conditions.
Your booking is Not confirmed until your required payment has been received in full.
All deposit values are non-refundable.
All remaining Camping Balance amounts are due 7 days prior to your arrival date and become non-refundable from this date.
All remaining Self-Catering/Multi-Booking Balance amounts are due 28 days prior to your arrival date and become non-refundable from this date.
If remaining balance amounts are not paid prior to your arrival by the due date stated, your booking may be cancelled.
All payments must be made prior to arrival.

Vehicle Registration Numbers - Are Mandatory on All Bookings including any vehicle.
***If you are Hiring your vehicle and do not yet know the registration number, please enter 'Hiring' in the registration field and update us with the registration number once known.

Deposit Payments  - All Deposit Payments (including payments for single night bookings) Are NON-REFUNDABLE From Point Of Payment

Self-Catering - Bookings - Deposit is due on request at point of booking and will be equal to 25% of the total value of your booking, including any extras. Bookings are not confirmed until your deposit amount has been received in full. Bedding & Towels provided in Cottages & Glamping Chalets for number of guests booked. Only bedding provided in Camping Shieling Tents, No Towels  - Guests must provide their own. Outstanding balance amounts are due strictly 28 days prior to your arrival date and cancellations can be made up to this point. After which your booking becomes non-refundable. If outstanding balances are not paid in full by the stated due date, you risk your booking being cancelled without refund of any monies paid to date.
If your booking is for one-night only, you are required to pay the total cost upfront to confirm your booking. This full amount is non-refundable.
If your booking is for more than one-night, and your arrival date is within 28 days, you will be required to pay the total cost upfront to confirm your booking. This full amount is non-refundable

Self-Catering - Child Price Policy - No child price for Cottage bookings. Each child under 16 years old, staying with the minimum of up to 2 adults in Shieling Tents, £12 per night. Babies under 1 year old are free, however, families with babies staying free must provide all own baby equipment. Infants over 1 year old will be charged the child price, but may request use of travel cot, high chair or baby bath, when available. Please note, we have very limited supply of baby equipment. We do not provide any cot bedding. Refundable deposits may be requested for use of baby equipment.

Booking.com Self-Catering Bookings - Will be charged in full at time of booking and are Non-Refundable as per Booking.com Non-Refundable cancellation policy. Booking.com reservations transferred to a direct Shieling Holidays reservation will remain fully Non-Refundable. See booking.com reservation for further details.

Campers and Tourers - Bookings - Deposit is due on request at point of booking and will be equal to the value of your first night, including any extras. Multi-Bookings - Self-Catering - Deposit values will be worked out as detailed above, then will amount to one single deposit amount, which will be due on request at point of booking and will be 25% of the total value of your booking, including any extras. Bookings are not confirmed until your deposit has been received in full.
Bedding & Towels provided in Cottages & Glamping Chalets for number of guests booked. Only bedding provided in Camping Shieling Tents, No Towels  - Guests must provide their own. Outstanding balances for the entire multi-booking will be due strictly 28 days prior to your arrival date and cancellations can be made up to this point. After which your booking becomes non-refundable. If outstanding balances are not paid in full by the stated due date, you risk your booking being cancelled without refund of any monies paid to date.

Multi-Bookings - Campers and Tourers - Deposit values will be worked out as detailed above, then will amount to one single deposit amount, which will be due on request at point of booking and will be equal to the total value of your first night, including any extras. Bookings are not confirmed until your deposit has been received in full. Outstanding balances are due strictly 7 days prior to your arrival date and cancellations can be made up to this point. After which your booking becomes non-refundable. If outstanding balances are not paid in full by the stated due date, you risk your booking being cancelled.

Multi-Bookings - Mixed - Where there are elements of both Self-Catering and Camping within a Multi-Booking, deposit values will be worked out as detailed above, then will amount to one single deposit amount, which will be due on request at point of booking. Bookings are not confirmed until your deposit has been received in full. Where there are elements of both Self-Catering and Camping within a Multi-Booking, outstanding balances will be due strictly 28 days prior to your arrival date and cancellations can be made up to this point. After which your booking becomes non-refundable. If outstanding balances are not paid in full by the stated due date, you risk your booking being cancelled.

Accepted Payment Methods - Deposit payments are required to confirm all bookings. Bookings must be paid for in full ahead of arrival with Camping Balance amounts due 7 days prior to arrival date and Self-catering Balance amounts due 28 days prior to arrival. 
You can make your required payments via our unique single-use payment links as provided in your ‘Deposit Request’ emails, which allow you to make your payment securely via our Barclaycard ePDQ secure Payment Portal.
We also accept payment by card over the phone, or you can request Bank Transfer details if you are unable to make your payment online or are uncomfortable paying by card over the phone.
If making a payment whilst on site, we can provide you with a payment link by email, as detailed above, or you can pay in person at reception by cash or card.
We Only Accept Visa or Mastercard
We DO NOT Accept American Express, Cheques, Foreign Currency or Travelers Cheques.

Bank Transfer Payments - Please be aware that should your exchange rate result in the amount received falling short of the full amount due, or your transfer payment incurs an exchange transfer fee, you will be liable to pay these outstanding amounts additionally.

Hire of Cooking & Eating Kits - These include crockery, cutlery, pot with lid, frying pan plus basic utensils and can be hired for £3.00 per person, per stay (up to a max of 6 persons). There will be an additional £5 refundable deposit due on arrival when hiring this kit form us, payable in cash. This will be refunded to you on your day of departure when the kit is returned to us in full, clean and undamaged.

If you are booking one of our Camping Shieling Tents, or Large Camping Shieling Tents and are a Family or group of more than 4 people, all staying in the one tent together for 7 nights or more, then the 5th and 6th person will stay for free.

You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance to cover the risk of cancellation. If outstanding balance payments are received late, your booking may be cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time. Where possible, 4 weeks’ notice would be given, together with a refund where applicable.

Reception is open most days - 09:00 to 19:30 Peak season & 09:00 to 17:15 Low season.
When closed, an 'Out of Hours' contact number will be provided on the door of Reception for emergencies.

Campers and tourers – You can check in at reception and pitch-up/hook-up no earlier than 12:00 noon.
Check in is available until 19:15 hours (17:15 in Low Season).  
Departure no later than 12:00 noon.

Self-Catering Guests – You can check in at reception no earlier than 17:00 hrs.
Check in is available until 19:15 hours (17:15 in Low Season).  
Departure no later than 10:00 a.m.

Please contact us in advance to make special arrangements to request arriving or departing out-with these times. Such requests will be considered on an individual basis.

Out of Season Camping Bookings - Between 1^st November and the Monday before Easter - as Easter is one of our peak seasons, all deferred stays from the previous season must be fulfilled before the Monday before Easter.

We may only accept bookings from motorhomes, campervans and caravans with self-contained on-board facilities, as our toilet and shower blocks may have been closed for winter maintenance - Please check before booking.
Fresh water refill, grey water disposal and chemical disposal points will be available and all our available hardstanding pitches have the option of electric-hook-up.

Please be aware that we Cannot guarantee any specific pitch requests, nor verify pitch allocation prior to day of arrival.
It is our policy Not to guarantee any 'specific' pitches ahead of your arrival day, as we cannot predict any eventuality which could cause any pitch/pitches to be out of action for any period of time, therefore avoiding disappointment for you upon arrival. Where pitch requests are made, we will do our utmost to accommodate where possible, but cannot guarantee them.

Fire Regulations dictate that all shore front pitches are available to motorhome/campervan guests only. No caravans allowed. All shore front pitches are strictly No Awning Pitches, pull out, freestanding or otherwise – No Additional Structures of Any Kind Allowed.

No Barbecues or Open Fires are permitted on site, other than in the designated campfire area on the top field (See Site-Plan). This is for fire safety and to protect the grass and astroturf. 

Please note that cars can go up towards the Shieling/top field to pitch and pack, but must remain on the hard-standing, they are not permitted on the grass, after which they are to be left in a car parking area nearby. This is to protect the grass and other campers.

When checking in for any of our Self-Catering accommodation, you may be asked for a good housekeeping deposit;
£40 for a Cottage.
£25 for a Shieling Tent.
Ideally paid in cash, although debit or credit card payments may be considered.
Vacuums can be supplied on request.
We will return your good housekeeping deposit, less the cost of any damage/loss or extra cleaning required, within 7 days of your departure if paid by card. Or, if paid in cash, simply recover your deposit yourself on the afternoon of your departure. This can be done any time after 17:00 hours for Cottage or Shieling Tent guests.

Late Arrivals - RECEPTION IS OPEN Most days - 09:30 to 19:30 Peak season & 09:30 to 17:15 Low season.
Current opening hours available on the door of reception as well as the Home page of our website.
In case of emergency, or assistance required outside of these hours, please call the number provided on the door of reception. – Please Do Not Call after 10:30 pm unless it is an Emergency.

Please consider others and keep noise down, especially between 22:30 and 7:30.
Please keep dogs on lead whilst on site and pick up after them
Keep your speed to a maximum of 5mph when driving on site.
Recycling and general rubbish bins are located behind reception. Please recycle as much as you can.
All water on the site is drinking water
Astroturf pitches: strong pegs and a mallet are available from reception if needed.
Electric hook-up: multi-point adaptors are available from reception if needed.
Extension leads are available for a refundable £20 deposit.

Due to fire regulations, campervans, motorhomes and caravans MUST be pitched nose or tail end first. Please Do Not park across your pitch.
All Shore Front Pitches are STRICTLY NO AWNING PITCHES, Freestanding, or Otherwise. - Pull-out awnings may be considered on request once on site.
No barbecues or open fires are permitted on site, other than in the designated campfire area on the top field (see site-plan). This is for fire safety and to protect the grass and astroturf.
No Refunds will be offered, as per our terms and conditions.

We would request that if you have any issues at all during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible to allow us the opportunity to resolve them for you.
We cannot resolve any issues after departure.

Wi-Fi - Wi-Fi is provided on site free of charge by a 3rd party company and signal strength may fluctuate in busier periods and in inclement weather. The Wi-Fi is only suitable for web browsing and emails, and cannot be used for streaming/downloads.

Travel Insurance - You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance to cover the risk of all eventualities.

Cancellation Policy/Refunds - Required deposit amounts are non-refundable.  Remaining balance amounts become non-refundable 7 days prior to original Camping arrival date/28 days prior to original self-catering/multi-booking arrival date. 
If for any reason you are unable to reach the island after confirming your booking, I am afraid that you would not be entitled to any refund, as any travel arrangements, including ferry travel, are not our liability.
Qualifying Refunds will only be processed by direct Bank Transfer regardless of original payment method.  Guests qualifying for any Refund will be required to provide valid UK Bank Details to enable us to process said Refund.  Please be aware that your exchange rate may result in the amount you receive falling short of the GBP Refunded amount, Shieling Holidays Mull Ltd are not liable for any resulting shortfall.  Should your refund payment incurs any charges/fees, you, the beneficiary, will be liable to pay these, including our bank charges.  Shieling Holidays Mull Ltd are not liable for any additional charges/fees incurred as a result of any refunds processed.  

Deferred Date Bookings - Providing there is adequate availability;  We will honour paid amounts towards dates deferred to within same season as original booking or through our out of season winter months. Deferred bookings remain non-refundable, subject to original dates booked; Balance amounts become non-refundable 7 days prior to original Camping arrival date/ 28 days prior to original self-catering/multi-booking arrival date. Bookings can only be deferred once. No further modification to dates will be accommodated. Deferred bookings may incur additional charges, rates dependant.
Deferred bookings Must have a latest departure date of the Monday before Easter.

Force Majeure Clause - We are not liable for any expenses you may incur in the event you are prevented from fulfilling your Booking as a result of circumstances beyond our or your control resulting in your requesting to cancel your booking or failing to arrive. Such circumstances shall include (but not be limited to) war, terrorism, riots or civil unrest, industrial action, travel cancellations or bans, flooding, natural disaster, health risks, epidemics, pandemics or other such similar events or unforeseeable circumstances that prevent fulfilment of any booking contract. No refunds will be given. ("Force Majeure").
We recommend that you have adequate holiday insurance in place to cover all eventualities.

Purchase Order Requests - We are willing to show a purchase order number on our invoices for mere administration purposes only; we will not be bound by any customer or third party terms & conditions. 
We do NOT accept any imposed terms or conditions for any reason. 
Customers requesting to book camping or self-catering accommodation at Shieling Holidays Mull do so in full agreement of our Terms & Conditions solely.
Payment of any Non-refundable Deposit is agreement to our Terms & Conditions. 
Our Terms & Conditions are absolute & final.


Campsite for Campervans/Motorhomes/Caravans & Selected Self-catering available all year round. (No Tents until Summer Season)
Summer Season runs from 1st April (unless Easter falls in March) & 31st October each season.
Peak Season includes Easter Holidays, May Bank Holiday, Whitsun, July to mid September each season & Rally week each October.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

GDPR Compliance

By providing your name, address, telephone number and email address within our booking system, you give us, Shieling Holidays Mull Ltd, permission to retain and use this information, strictly on the basis detailed below.
Please be assured that we will only contact you in direct relation to your booking and we will never share your information with third parties.
If however after your departure date, you no longer wish to receive any further communication or information from us, we will delete your details upon receipt of your written instruction.
This is in compliance with GDPR (EU) legislation regarding data protection (effective from 25 May 2018) which governs how we store the personal data; names, postal addresses & email addresses of our guests.

Guest details may be passed on to local authorities for purposes of Track & Trace requirements, should the need arise.
