Please find latest COVID-19 statement here
As we once again progress through the Covid pandemic and begin to progress out of lockdown, we currently anticipate being permitted to welcome guests from 26th April 2021, but cannot guarantee this just yet, as we await clarification from the Scottish Government on the restrictions to be imposed, i.e. how long will the Single Household Rule have to remain in place, or when our shared facilities will be permitted to open and with what Social Distancing restrictions, or when will the borders open to allow travel throughout the UK?
We are excited to welcome guests back to Shieling Holidays Mull once more, as soon as we are legally permitted to do so and would like to assure our guests that we are committed to doing all that we can to give you confidence when booking to visit us.
Deep cleaning and decontamination processes will be rigorously followed and our staff have completed specific training on Covid-19 cleaning protocols.
We are situated on a beautiful shore front with breath-taking sea, mountain, and uninterrupted views up the Sound of Mull and down Loch Linnhe, all the way to Ben Nevis.
A warm welcome awaits your arrival with your caravan, camper or tent.
Why not try our unique self-catering Standard or En-suite Shieling Tents for camping with a difference.
Perhaps our charming Cottages will inspire you to take a break with us here on this idyllic island.
There are forestry tracks and enchanting coastline walks within easy reach, which you, the family and your dog will love.
One of the forestry walks nearby will take you to the now private Torosay castle or for the more adventurous, walk around the shore to both Torosay and Duart castles. Starting points to walk up the surrounding hills are also close by.
We are ideally based, nice and centrally for exploring Mull, with Tobermory 21 miles North and Fionnphort 35 miles south.
We are a mere stroll from the local amenities; pub, shop, cafes, ferry terminal and buses for Tobermory and Fionnphort, where you can take a ferry to Iona (or boat trips to Staffa).
A pleasant walk around to the other side of the bay will take you to the Isle of Mull Hotel & Swimming Pool.
Although we are within the village of Craignure, we are located on a peninsula, so there is no disturbance from traffic noise, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
To request a booking with us, please complete our Booking Enquiry form by clicking the blue button below, then you can look forward to all of this and more, escape to a better world!
